About Reno County Citizens for Transparency
Reno County Citizens for Transparency represents the voices of individuals and businesses that tried to express concerns about the response to COVID-19 with the Reno County Health Department and Reno County Commission, but were ignored and even silenced. Emails have been dismissed, phone calls not returned and information withheld.
The county’s response to COVID-19 caused much mental, physical and economic harm that was preventable. This site provides the transparency thousands of Reno Countians have sought by providing them with the truth about the county’s failed response to COVID-19 and gives citizens the resources to learn the truth about masking, PCR testing, asymptomatic spread, therapeutic treatments, immune health, vaccines and more. It also provides information on a better way to respond to COVID-19.
Collateral Damage from the Response to COVID-19
Depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, drug overdoses, job loss, business closures, kids failing school, people foregoing doctors’ visits resulting in worsening chronic conditions and undiagnosed cancers and nursing home residents wanting to give up and just die due to social isolation-these are all a result of the response to COVID-19. The mass testing and quarantining approach taken by the Reno County Commission at the direction of the health department has destroyed lives, community and economy.
Building on the GBD framework by adding in education about the real risks of COVID-19 (not fear), health prevention, immune system and outpatient therapeutics is a better approach than the approach one used and would have resulted in much less collateral damage and hospitalizations. The strategy, which was in place for months clearly did not work, so why did we would we keep doing the same thing?
A Better Way to Respond to COVID-19
Because the Reno County Health Department, Reno County Commission and the local media controlled the narrative keeping the community from hearing other ideas, most Reno Countians were unaware there was a better way to respond to COVID-19.
